Christina has been working on a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast), grown from a bottle of GT’s Kombucha. This is her latest pet “hippie” project, in an effort to guarantee the health and well being of our family. This is something that she discovered while researching raw milk. She was impressed by the rave reviews and bought a bottle at Whole Foods. Further impressed by the sample bottle, she decided to grow her own. She decided that it would be more economical to have a home grown spore. With a fair amount of research and theorizing (thanks, Google), she has apparently been successful thus far.
